If you watched the news at the end of today, you'll know a whole lot more about CHO. Lots and lots of signs /warning of a person on the edge, perhaps psychotic.

Some very sad and frightening insights.

I am very impressed with the students at Virginia Tech. They are showing signs of maturity, humility and class far beyond their years. In spite of how hard the news people try to bait them, they manage to avoid the bait. They remain composed. We can all be very proud of those kids.

If I heard some of the news reports correctly, students closed doors and held them closed while the murderer fired into/through the door.

Look past the droopy pants, piercings, etc. "Guts is grace under pressure." This country will be in fine hands when those kids take over.

This afternoon NPR played an interview with the ONLY uninjured 20 y.o. male student from the French Class that Cho attacked. The kid was late arriving and sat in the back of the class...the only thing that saved him. He was very mature and wanted to help other survivors, families, etc. Thinking of my own 24 y.o. son and his friend who graduated last year from VA Tech, I started to get misty.....putting myself in the place of one of the parents

All of us will have a long weekend to ponder this tragedy and hear more analysis of Cho's video 'memorial to himself'

I think the parents are going to have it the hardest. The school will heal, the other students will eventually get over it, but the parents who lost a child will carry this tragedy with them for the rest of their lives. They will carry this sadness until the day they die.

I feel terrible for the parents.
