I think part of it is that they are so big now she has no room to land! She was clinging to the side earlier feeding them.

 

yeah, she probably feels the way a lot of parents feel when the adult kids just won't leave!!!

 

Kick their ass out, that's what we did.

 

Well, one has left and the other may have by now. Will check later.

 

I thought for sure the last little guy was going to leave. It spend a lot of time cleaning it's feathers and hopped up on the rim of the nest. Then Mom showed up to offer a snack. I guess it decided not to leave the good life and settled back down.

 

Tierra is a she and still hasn't gotten the courage to fly away even though Phoebe (Mom) is rebuilding the nest around her!

 

Tierra flew away about an hour ago.
