Did they check out your hip while you were in?
It's easy to focus on a single big issue and skip the others.
Hurt Ribs suck. plain and simple. Bones bruises suck. and there is nothing they can do.
if you want to chuckle a little.
Many moon ago, I flopped into a chair, my the wooden arm wasn't where i thought it was.
I bruised my coccyx, the very tip of my tail bone and bruised it badly.
It hurt to move anything in the waist and below.
it was on my honeymoon.

I imagine many honeymoons aren't great. I've heard a few stories. Mine started with tears as my mother had a temper tantrum at the end of my reception. I met a guy at NSXPO in San Francisco in 2018, who was strip searched before passing a stone on his honeymoon cruise.

My guess is it will be relatively quick recovery compared to other people perhaps that have had similar injuries.
^5-16-2019. Day 7 of the 29 staples. I'm getting them removed followed by my first physical therapy on Monday, in four days.
In the meantime, I'm enjoying this Loveland, Colorado spring with my two cats.

Patricia, once you let the cats out are they hard to get back inside? And then to they drive you nuts wanting to be let out all the time?
If I tried to keep my previous indoor-outdoor cats in for any extensive time, they would drive me nuts.
Thelma has been pretty good about not trying to escape. She's content watching the birds from inside, I think.

Rough day holding off oxycodone since midnight in order to not be under the influence when driving today. That was a sure way to find out exactly what pain it helped alleviate. So, back home with a bit over an hour of the medicine in me and then my lovely boys, to boot! Happy Friday night.

Patricia, since you're awake..... you left the door wide open for another one of my smart-ass remarks with that photo..... and I passed on it because I want you to know I would never take a cheap shot.
