169.0 this morning. That means I’m down a full 25 pounds since I started after Christmas. 15 pounds to go.

Today we have an attorney’s lunch in the office. I must resist the buffet.

Way to go Bill, I was thinking you said you only lost 7. Certainly you joke about 15 more.

Thanks Jim and Dave. Once I'm in "the zone," it isn't too hard to keep at it.

Dave, I'm not sure about 7. A few posts ago I observed that it took me 6 or 7 weeks to lose 10 pounds. No joke about 15 to go, but maybe a slight exaggeration. At 5'6 and 3/4", 155 is considered a "normal" or average weight. So I guess I could say 14 to go. Over the years, 155 was a low that I was able to maintain with moderate exercise and a normal diet. Once, while in my 40s, I really got into fitness and was working out like crazy. I got down to 147 which is much less than I weighed in high school or any other time in my adult life. I was in pretty good shape and looked good, but I just could not maintain it.

Well, the lunch went poorly. Two slices of pizza and a piece of carrot cake.

I like carrot cake! I should treat myself to some next week..retirement celebration. The diet can start on the Monday. The first "official" day of retirement.

I was much better at dinner. I also got in a good work out. We'll see what the scale says in the morning.
