Pretzels have been my snack for years...popcorn is the preferred, but a small serving of pretzels when the munchies hit is a better choice than the popcorn.

I'm hitting the gym hard. Just came back from a class called Body Blast. A step, weights, cardio and more. This afternoon a stroll at the zoo, then Zumba later. If my legs hold out.

Scale slightly, very slightly, more favorable today.

My new weight is back to my low weight of 166.7 which is what I weighed on Monday. I thought the scale was going to show at least 1 pound lighter.

Diet or no diet small stick pretzels were always my go-to snack until they reduced the amount of salt on them by what seems like 90%. I've shopped everywhere for some like the old days and gave up. Still at my low weight today; probably a good thing.

I feel like I need a rest day today, but I know I'll be home too late to work out tomorrow due to dinner and drinks with my partners. What to do???

I've been enjoying the extra exercise and now the parting gift of germs from the boss are catching up to me. The throat is much better, but the sniffles are happening big time tonight. Sunday would be my rest day. I had Y plans for tomorrow and Saturday. Hopefully, it will still happen.

I woke up early (again) and decided to work out this morning. Problem solved. I’m guilt free!

goblue and I are both losing a bit more weight the last week or so.

Not for a good reason, though...

goblue has been in the hospital since Wednesday morning with double pneumonia. We thought it was just a cold, but after not feeling much better after a week or so, he went to his regular doctor, who told him to go to the ER.

goblue has not been eating or drinking much for a week or so since he had no appetite. I've not been eating so much either this week, what with the kitchen remodeling, goblue being sick, being at the hospital...

He was severely dehydrated and was also having a lot of trouble swallowing, so they are doing more tests, just to make sure there is nothing else wrong. (They have already done blood work, chest x-ray, CAT scans, and probably more.)

Hopefully, he'll be able to come home from the hospital this weekend.
