iPhone
I upgraded to an iPhone last week. All I can say is, Oh my God!. The thing is amazing. The free apps you can download are awesome. I downloaded USA Today so I can read news, business, sports, weather. I got ESPN Mobile. I can check scores, read articles, get podcasts. I got an app called Fast Food...wherever I am at, I can find where the closest Burger King is.
It will give me the phone number and I can even get turn by turn directions from the GPS. Same thing for coffee shops, libraries, museums, etc. I haven't downloaded it yet, but there is a free app for Hotels.com. If you're traveling you can find and book local hotels. I can have email delivered to the phone every 15 minutes. The thing is basically a computer. I will not have to haul my laptop when traveling now. It even has an iPod and I can play music in the car thru the attachment thingy I posted in the iPod thread.
Does anyone else have one? Any apps you you like that you would recommend?

I've had mine since September. Don't know how I ever lived without it.
Can even make Skype calls on it at the Dragon!
Apps I recommend:
GasHog
Bloomberg
Skype
Say Who
Shazam
pandora
YPmobile
And, of course, iFart

If you are into financial stuff...I highly recommend the "Cal10BII" by Ernest Brock. It's well worth the $5.00 dollar price tag. This is the only appl that I paid for. The other one that I use daily is Bloomberg which is also recommend by parkerdt.

Yeah that's good, but how's the phone work?

That's the bad part. Service at home sucks. But I have a home phone for that I guess.

I don't make many calls on mine but "Call Phailed" happens way too often.
Aside from that, the iPhone ROCKS.
My son and I have our company cell phones. His needed replacing and was at the AT&T store to get a replacement. I had to go in and sign for the new phone as I am the company owner.
While I am there he tells me that he wants an Iphone. "What! We don't need to spend money on something like THAT!" was my immediate response.
My son asks me to at least look at one and he ran through the attributes of the phone.
We left the store with both of us having a brand new Iphone. They have proven to be tough, reliable phones with some great apps. Every few months you have to plug it into your computer to download software updates though.
2 of my fav apps are: Maps which is a GPS
Sportacular which gives updated info on all sports.
