The Iphone is a world-changer. Seriously. It's the start of a whole new way of looking at technology that may eventually replace TV, radio, everything. Really. It's not there now, but you can see "it" off in the future.

I am constantly amazed, however since sept of last year it has crashed a couple of times and i had to spend an hour here and there with the apple folks and once into a store for help...i am pc savy...i love this phone, it is sooooo intuitive. if i could go mac with my business i would.

i recommend this to many and it always amazes me what you can add to it...usually i buy the free apps...you need to just check them out now nad then and take a chance...

i have vacinity, yelp and quikvoice so far, the phone is amazing, and it has changed everything... a computer in your hand!

battery life can be extended, just don't have it look for emails every 15 min. it will look for them when you open your emails .

What does an iPhone cost these days? Seems like they were $600-$700 at one time.

^^ Also, how the heck do you learn to use all those aps? I'm in serious need of a new phone (will get it in September since that's contract renewal time) and a new pda. I HATE HATE HATE the idea of having to relearn all that crap all over again. I also hate the idea of having to pay a freaking fortune for the data package. Where do you folks get all that money???? I'm suffering with paying two internet pkgs (for two houses), two cable pkgs (for two houses) and I pay for my granddaughter's cellphone. I'd like a nice little pda that syncs with the computer and a nice little cellphone that's easy to send/receive text msgs and phone calls -- no more, no less. I'm done. I'm blonde and I'm freaking old. I don't need any more knowledge. I already know enough to know that technology is changing too rapidly for me to keep up.

$199. The price is subsidized by AT&T to get as many of these into the market as possible. Or is it subsidized by Apple? Well one of the two.

Val, it's very easy and intuitive. I'll show you when you return to SC.
