The Killer Angels
I'm starting this thread to give everyone interested ample time to obtain a copy of the book. This is the one:

I hope the link works.
Afer the Noreaster, we'll figure out a date to start the discussion. I'd like to go by days (the way the book is divided). I would also like to start with a discussion of the characters that are briefly described in the front of the book. To accomodate the busy schedules of people, we can do a day a week.
If you have already read it, please do not post here about your general opinion of the book and/or your opinion of the people portrayed, how they ended up, etc. In other words, don't ruin it for others.
I think this will be fun. I know it will make our trip to Gettysburgh more interesting.

I was inspired to read Killer Angels after watching the Ted Turner movie "Gettysburg." The movie is based on the book and is pretty faithful to it. It was quite a production with a lot of reenactors and a boatload of cannons. The reenactors were in heaven making the movie.
The author of the book had an interesting life story also.
