My Dad supervised the construction of the building which was one of the first high rises near the downtown area (Sutton Place). He then took over the maintenance of the building and he and my Mom had a beautiful apartment there. I was in the Navy when Mitch Miller visited but Dad and Mom met him and Leslie Uggams who he was introducing to the show.
