^ We will on Day 3 of the cruise. We leave next week for Paris.
From May 2018:
Just booked the Paris-Normandy cruise excursions to include Monet's gardens at Giverny, all day trip to the Normandy beaches (I have been before but not since I was 11), walking tour through the medieval quarter of Rouen, tour of Napoleon and Josephine's Chateau de Malmaison, and a walking tour of the Ile St Louis and Ile de la Cite in Paris, with a tour of Notre Dame. Still have to plan the other places to see in Paris, but those are not part of the official trip. Getting the +1's input, since he has never been and I've lived there and been back a couple of times since.

^ Thanks! Will definitely check out L'Huitrier. I am planning to book a private tour guide/car for our arrival day for Montmartre and Les Invalides, the two top sights on my list. Will be expensive, but it is for six hours, so a lot of time. That evening would be good for L'Huitrier. If we are still awake. If not, our last day would be good, also. My plan is ambitious, but I want to cram in a lot since it will be a long time before we go back.

Yes, a Panorama Suite. I'm getting up there in age and want to do these kinds of trips while I/we still can. I'm choosing them carefully. Canada on the Rocky Mountaineer train two years ago was amazing. Really the trip of a lifetime. This one promises to be, also. Paris will certainly bring back lots of memories for me. As will Normandy. And we will make some new ones at the places I've not been to before. The +1 hasn't been to any of them, so it will certainly be a trip for him to remember. Hoping to do another one a couple of years from now. Can't afford it every year. I have the fjords of Norway, a riverboat cruise on the Mississippi, and Italy on the short list right now. The +1's grandfather came from a little mountain town near Naples which would be fun to visit. We have both been to Italy, just not together.
