Default Please forgive me...I've modded!

I've had my '03 since July and I'm just as thrilled with it today as I was the day I drove it out of the dealership. There's nothing that I don't like about it. So I got a few small items. Wheel locks, nice plate frames and those neat valve caps that just spin around without the magic tool. A while back someone posted about the leather visor covers from Rick's. I checked them out on Rick's site and I thought they looked pretty nice but also fairly expensive. I decided to order them because the visors on the S are a bit on the cheesy side since I don't think that you can remove the death warnings. Anyway, they look just great! Perfect fit and glove-soft leather, they just seem to finish off the interior really well. I just thought I'd mention this for any of you folks who are looking for a little something to make your car just a bit nicer inside. In keeping with the surroundings here I feel they have a certain "vintage" quality!

You are forgiven.

However, maybe we should talk about the "degree of sin". Is a sun visor cover worse than a CAI? Are Rick's badges worse than FI?

I've always had a perverse appreciation for Thomas Aquantis' famous quote "If you must sin, sin BOLDLY!"

Agreed. I feel embarassed calling my Saner Bar and Spugen Single "mods."

Judging by your mods, I can see you are well down the slippery slope of modding .

You do realize, of course, that when we show our cars, side by side, at Pebble Beach in the year 2027, I'm going to win for having the "pure" stock car.

Actually I saw the visor covers at Fall Colors. They're pretty nice. Use them well.

Only in Vintage can I admit proudly that my only mod is a large Rick's Voodoo shift knob, and that because a proper roadster ought to have a big, round shift knob.

True, but I'll be able to unzip my visor covers revealing brand spankin' new original factory visors that will be in great shape. Unfortunately, I won't be able to say the same for myself.
