Hmm I see box 9 + 10 on the second row...I can't see the numbers shown on the boxes above... I did scroll back and see your post about what is in the magical box #7. You are just too organized. Do you drive Donna crazy?

Wish I was a grandson. I would have picked Hunt's McLaren to go with the matching Glen program that I have.

Words of wit:

My super powers are holding onto junk for years and throwing it away a week before I need it.

An actual statement:

I did the same as Dave…I gave away my 1/18th Cast iron Ferrari collection to my grandchildren - they loved them! The Items only lasted a few weeks before they were destroyed as toys, but I was glad to give them as a genuinely enjoyed gift and reacquiring the space they were occupying.

That I did not give away. I wish I still had the other model I bought immediately after being at that race.
I built it first but over time it did not survive.

One's 12 and one turns 14 this weekend. So they are young enough to still enjoy them and old enough to not destroy them. Even if they do; its not like I gave up my entire collection (they got 10 each from those shelves). I still have all the one's that have personal meaning.

You have to know they are organized from #1 on the top shelf down....

We will be hitting #49 next month, so I think she's OK with it. As long as I don't organize her stuff. OMG, I'd love to take on the kitchen for starters.

I think we've discussed this before, but I still have the Tamaiya version, un-built and in the box, that my parents gave me for Christmas in the late 70's. Looking forward to it as a retirement project.

Actually that was the kit I built. It's a great model. Take your time; its a keeper.

I have a few S2000 toys and models I need to either build with the grandson or give away.

I'm continuing my downsizing. I selected 16 car books to put in our club's annual auction. Most were coffee table size and totalled 2,950 pages! Its a start. Proabably have 80 more books to go but I have to leave room in the MG for some refreshments at the auction.
