Reminds me of a little wooden recipe box of recipe cards that I inherited when my grandmother passed away.

Almost every other recipe card was from something like California Prune Growers and was a recipe using prunes!

I stand corrected. Of course!
My firm was the accounting firm for the farmers that farmed the last prune orchard within the San Jose city limits. They farmed it, but didn’t own it. Guess who owned it. IBM.

I'm guessing operating it as a farm until needed kept the tax rate low.

It also made it a nice looking piece of property. You should see those trees in bloom. They used to call it The Valley of the Heart's Delight, thousands of acres 75 years ago. Made the cherry blossoms in DC look like a flower arrangement. (I wasn't there back then so I'm not speaking from experience)

Only a little over a week to go. I've only missed a couple days, but I'm ready when all those barrels of $ do come in! Seriously, I have been reading it daily. But it got me thinking about the message from this guy back in the 50s. I think I will buy the book, it is still available for very little. I am tempted to buy two or three, and maybe I will give them for Xmas presents for my son and grandsons. After I get mine I will decide. And he has a shorter time frame!!!
