PA Jerry, the more I think about this the more I think you must be in hog heaven. You're notorious for being cheap, I mean frugal.

Of the mods that i have done, most have been bought used. I have Penske shocks, Rays (Volks) wheels, shift knob, mats, Saner bar , an 04 stereo head unit in an 00 MY. I also bought a used single exhaust.

I do have an X brace and strut bar in the garage - not on the car. I bought the X brace new and the strut bar used.

I guess I don't like to take the big hit in depreciation on new items when I can get good used items for low prices.

I bought mods and then removed some of them and returned my car mostly to stock. I did not like aftermarket exhausts due to the resonance inside the car. I did not like the Saner bar due to the front end noise it makes. I did not like LE 607 rear gear lube as it is too thick and robs the car of power.

I have Modifries GBO and say that it is the best mod for the money.
I have a JDM left sideview mirror lens that really helps with the blind spot
I have a Hammersley hitch that I hardly ever use, but the mounting brackets are attached to my car, so I guess that is a modification.
I have a MY '00 sway bar instead of the stock '02

Jerry, congratulations on the free parts, but make sure you like the sound of the exhaust from INSIDE the car before you buy. Try it both top up and down.

The only thing on my car which is not pure stock is the mobil1 motor oil.
everything else is running in as delivered condition.

S-Pods, JRZ shocks, JDM BBS wheels, Gendron hitch, all purchased used. I bought the hitch before I bought the car!

The only mod I didn't buy used was the Gendron sway bar.

I put mine together using other people's junk. I started out with a Saner front sway bar, Koni shocks, JIC Majic Exhaust (lousy sound, drones, weighs 19 lbs. OEM exhaust weighs 58 lbs.) and a couple of sets of OEM wheels.

Before I got around to having the Konis revalved, I got a deal on a Gendron bar, Penske shocks, and the stock size JDM BBS wheels.

Is Redline Shockproof differential lube considered a mod? I did buy the Redline new.

No used mods for the S but I am planning to buy some almost new Rubicon fender flares for the Jeep at a great price.
