[QUOTE=paS2K,Nov 20 2009, 03:25 PM] I received a call yesterday from a friend who is not online here very often.

What exactly do you mean?

A sway bar, or an x-brace?

A sway bar will indeed change the handling of the car.

An X-brace will not change the handling really, but it will make the structure more rigid, will protect the bottom of the oil pan, and if it is designed like the Spoon X it will make oil changes a complete PITA.

I did not like aftermarket exhausts due to the resonance inside the car.
Not all aftermarket exhausts have a drone/resonance inside the car, some do for sure, and some are indeed mind numbing, but not all aftermarket exhaust systems have this problem.

I didn't consider it a lot until I got to the Triple-H Debris Winglets. Those sound kind of exotic.

X brace, and it may be a Spoon....no markings...goes under the car.

So do you have four 45 mm cap screws to send me, Doug You still owe me for the 1967 Watkins Glen Gran Prix poster....

The brace inside the engine compartment is a Spoon. Isn't that called a Strut Tower brace?

I had to do something to protect the paint on the front rocker arms, but mud flaps just seem so wrong on a sportscar, so, I made up my own, and had to call the something other than mud flaps, so I came up with Debris Winglets.

These have been on my car now for something like 4 years, they have saved me from countless stone chips for sure!

Because the plastic material is flat, and black, they are almost invisible to the overall look of the car.
