Verrry interesting thread.
I have to say I am blessed with a wife that shares my love of cars. While she doesn't drive stick (yet) and as such hasn't been able to drive our S, she does thoroughly enjoy our outings, anytime, any weather, top up or top down. She loves to drive, and loves to ride.
We just bought a new Accord for her (her car sort of suddenly gave up the ghost) and one of the cars she was looking at was the RX-8, but it was just a "leeetle" too small for her needs.
She does leave all things relating to car maintenance to me, even to the point of addding fuel, checking oil and washing. She'll get gas if she needs to but prefers to leave that to me if possible. I don't mind it, it gives me an excuse to drive (as if I need one) and I don't mind doing all that sort of thing since she enjoys everything else car-related with me.
