Dave, My uncle had a garage that looked similar.
He did excellent work, did so at fair prices and stood behind his work.
He had a 6 month backlog. Organization wasn't his thing but he knew where everything was. ( must be genetic)

I am not looking down on my Dad and his brothers but it was a shame that growing up up in rural Maine they never got a better educational opportunity.
I could see each and every one of them having been incredibly good engineers.

As you might imagine my art room is as clean and organized as my MG garage. An artist friend says it is a sign of a sick mind.

Speaking of sick minds....................I gave the bathroom a fall cleaning today. Washed woodwork and all that, fresh window valance and shower curtain. Put out the fresh display towels...they have a crease in them from being folded and sitting in the linen closet. I'm trying to see how long I go before I drag out the iron to make those creases disappear. I don't expect I'll make it through the day. Of course I could just toss them in the washer/dryer too.........

I started cleaning out the basement today. I threw out four boxes of old stuff. More to go in the future!

The towels are in the dryer now.

Rotated a few photos in the house, headed to a friend's home to see which of my "works of art" she'd like to have. She has a few. Maybe we'll switch some out or add to her collection.

The non-stop daily videos of the CA fires, the destruction, lives lost, rescues, evacuations, and the endless battles of the firefighters is really hard and sad to watch. A war without a name, even if the small battles have names.

At least I helped you in a small way with your garage. Thanks again!

I agree it feels like we are entering an apocalypse or the apocalypse.
