Congrats to your grandkids, Dave. Any kid who cares about animals and tries to help one in need, is off to a good start in the grown up world, in my opinion.

Are you still contemplating getting another dog?
Thanks Lainey, they have some animal loving DNA. As for another; Yes, I am. Donna's not in a hurry since its the first time in 50 years without one (or two), plus one year we had 5 cats as well. Still she runs up to pet any we see walking.

So I guess she has earned a break.
Dogs are a lot of work. I remember at SF she went up to a couple walking a dog.
^Zion is a regular Sealpoint but I like Snowshoes, too.
^9-18-2019. Atticus was a guard dog at the hotel door in Flagstaff. He kept all the boogie men out last night.
^9-17-2019. Atticus was sleeping on the center console the last 5 hours of my drive from southern California to Flagstaff, Arizona. He was a meow head the first two hours.
I brought home a tiny kitten today from the Larimer Humane Society in Loveland, Colorado. He was one of many that came from a hoarder. He was still nursing when the shelter got him, his sister and his mother. He had ear mites and some assortment of infections but he's all better now. He purrs the second you touch him and he's unfazed by the hissing of my other cat, Atticus.
^ He kneads and sucks on a blanket while purring loudly and nuzzling me. He's so sweet!
