I wanted the next one to be in the South!!! Drove 7 hours to Hagerstown last year and now anticipating 7-8 hours to Pittsburg -- its time it was down here!!!!
No matter where it is back there, it's anywhere from 8-14 hours (or more ) for us here in the NW burbs of Chicago. We'll still be trying to make it no matter where it is though.

Looks like great fun...I do like the body painting. Of course, it does help if the lady has nice breasts.
Depends on what effect you're trying to achieve with the paints! It does look like fun - kinda like Mardi Gras without so much police action

7 or 8 hours - that'd be nice! I think it's like 20 hours from here or something. I guess we'll just plan a week off and take a leisurely drive up and back!

You would have loved it!!! It was our first, and we had an absolute blast.

When's your Triumph meet in Rockford next year? We're thinking of driving over for that, as it's only an hour or so away from us. We used to go to Blackhawk Farms Raceway north of Rockford (to spectate, not participate), it's a neat little road course.

That'd be awesome! It'll be July 26-30, 2005 and I don't think they've mentioned a track day. We did a track day at Motorsport Ranch when we hosted the Regionals a couple of years ago, and it went really well (My one and only - so far - track event - I was the only one who went off-roading ), but they always have an Autocross. I had top time of day at the last regional convention in a tweaked 1500 cc Spitfire, and it'll be interesting to see how I do against people who actually know how to Autocross at a National event (not a lot of Autocrossers at the Regional level) There's not a lot posted on the event yet at VTR2005.org, but they should update as info becomes available.
