Another great weekend, as usual! It is such a pleasure to spend quality time with S2000 friends and throw in a great drive to boot.
Thanks to Sam, Jonas and the other drive group leaders for a fun drive and weekend.
I pulled into my garage at exactly 4:00 PM, and covered the 408 miles in 6.33 hours, netting an average speed of 64.45 MPH, which included one pit stop for gas and to drain the sump. Ken and Roy led our caravan until I left them in Hagerstown, so I can thank them for the above.^
I was the "tail gunner" for this group on the way home until I decided to take the longer, but more fun route home on US RT 50 through Eastern WV on the twisty part of RT 50. For the most part I got lucky with traffic except for an up hill climb behind an eighteen wheeler for several miles until he found a place to pull over to let the parade by. After a pit stop and a stop for lunch I arrived home at 3:49.
Note to David: At no time did we ever exceed the posted speed limit! (Just like on the drive I led.)

Hmmmm, an average speed of 64.45 MPH with a pit stop? Oh, I forgot that the speed limit on the Interstate that you guys took is often 70 MPH in spots
As always, it was great to see everyone again and meet some new folks that were "newbies" this year. I hope to see you again in Marietta again next year.

Got home around 4:30 yesterday afternoon. Had an awesome time and it was awesome seeing everyone. We snuck out early since we had a long drive (9 hours with traffic). Thanks again to all!

We got home around 2:30 yesterday. Let my grandson Gino have a run at Rt. 26 on the way back. Thanks to all that attended, as you are the ones that make this a great event.
