Leaving in 24 hours for 12 days in Norway, including 6 night cruise tour into the Arctic Circle! Has been on my bucket list for a long time, so getting excited. Check for pics on Facebook
You could do a blog like I did, ya know.
He will want to know if it costs anything. Enjoy the trip Jerry. Maybe you can bring back a Troll.

My plans are to hit LA for Labour Day (family re-up), Dragon Fall Run, then US Soccer events in Memphis and Disney. With my travels as a US Soccer official, I've been gone a lot (Indy, Boston, Cincinnati), so being home this summer has been good for my marriage :-).

Last week of Summer Vacation starts today. Going fishing, of course. Hope to do some pleasure boating and day trips to the islands.

Driving the Vette vert from LA to Sonoma for the IndyCar race and support races at Sonoma Raceway, September 16-18. Meeting up with friends that have a trailer and do this every year. They camp on the track. We'll watch practice, qualifying, and races on Friday and Sunday. We'll drive down to Palo Alto for the USC Stanford game on Saturday, including tailgating before the game. Monday we'll do some wine tasting, then head home.

Now that my time is my own for the first time in a long time, I've just planned an 8-day trip for us for next May aboard the Rocky Mountaineer (www.rockymountaineer.com), a wonderful train trip through the Canadian Rockies. Starts in Calgary, and includes stops in Banff, Lake Louise, Kamloops, and Vancouver before ending in Seattle. Plan to see my nephew and his wife in Seattle.

We have also talked about a trip to Paris, Giverny (location of Monet's famous gardens), and the Normandy beaches, but will put that one off until 2017, when the +1 may run the Paris Half Marathon. I had thought about the Viking River Cruise, but a boat is not that appealing to the +1, so probably will do a land trip.
Looking at this again for info on our Rocky Mountaineer trip. We did indeed do the Paris/Normandy trip last year. Not a land trip, but an Avalon boat up the Seine. The +1 loved every minute.
