Bob Moss:

On the subject of lines like Radisson, our next booked cruise is May '05 on the Radisson Diamond, Venice to Athens at a price of less than $2000 pp for 7 nights. Yes, tips are included, and not expected. Further. considering the size of the suite (260 sq. ft., one of Radisson's smallest) there is no way I could beat that price on Royal Caribbean or Princess. And Silversea (arguably a still more luxurious line) has a southern Caribbean Aruba to Aruba on Dec 6, '04 for about $1500 pp for 7 nights. That line is all inclusive totally, whereas on Radisson they do charge for drinks in the bars at times. (But the stocked mini bar in the room cuts down on the need for that!)

Thanks,
Richard

That is quite surprising, I have never looked into these thinking they are just too much for us. Very interesting. My wife is trying to get some friends interested in the Paul Gaugin for Tahitii and that one is definitely not cheap, due in part to the cost of air to that far-off locale.

In Feb we dove the Exuma cays, and my next trip is to Turks and Caicos to look at the fishes again.

dolebludger-

Air included with Paul Gaugin-$3800 per person. Ouch. It is a balcony, but still...

Bob:

Yes, that is high. It is "full list price", whereas we shop specials. I've seen it as low as $2500 including air, but you have to be watchful to find these deals, or have a TA watch out for you.

Thanks,
Richard

Bob:

If any members of your party have cruised Radisson before, there is a "past cruiser" special on the Paul Gauguin on certain dates this summer, starting at $1795pp plus air for about $500.

Hope this helps,
Richard

I am finishing up a 2 week road trip in the car. I went from Va Beach to New Orleans to Houston to Austin to Dallas to Memphis and back to Va Beach.
I met some GREAT members in Houston and Dallas and have had a blast. This car is GREAT for road trips!
