We have a beauty of a fall day here in New England. We will try to get a little bit of sunshine and enjoy an hour or so outside after work. Time to go for a walk.

Had a gorgeous day here yesterday - mid 60s with not a cloud in the sky. We went downtown to the art galleries to take advantage of it.

Same here. We broke down and turned the heat on at home too. I've started winter prep. Pool is closed. Did a fresh detail and wax on the daily driver last week.

We never hesitate to turn on the heat. I don't care if I run heat in AM and AC in PM... I need to be comfortable in my home.

The jacket in the morning, signifies a true acceptance that winter is approaching.

After months of very limited rain we finally got a good dump.
3.33 inches of rain this afternoon and evening.
A couple hours of steady heavy rain.
finishing with quite the light and sound show.

I bet there are some seriously flooded roads since a lot of the leaves have come down and will block up the storm drains.

Damn, that's a lot unless you live on a hill top.

Finished with 3.66 inches total and fortunately I do live on hill with a large flood plain nearby.
I haven't walked do to look at my dam yet.
Nearby Worcester got over 5" and of course the local news had numerous shots of floating cars of folks who fond out they couldn't drive through three and a half feet of water.

It looks like we're queued up for another heavy shot this afternoon.
We'll get rain but Emil and Robb's precipitation might be in the solid form as it works north and draws in the colder air

They are calling for three to six here Sat. night into Sunday, we will see. I just ordered snow tires for the WRX yesterday so I'm not ready yet but in any case it melts fast this time of year just hope the salt trucks don't go out.
