I haven't snow skied since I broke my leg when I was 33. I'm not really interested in it anymore. I do plan on walking around the area soon. My broken foot is getting better.

 

A monster blizzard is heading our way. It's a Nor"easter so very high winds, snow and ice will accompany it. Temps could dip below zero with the winds. Got batteries, lights, candles, food, gin and wine. Did I miss anything. Coming your way Bill with heavy snow forecast. Be safe.

Still gonna be dang cold. Saturday's high might not break zero. Got another 8" of snow coming before the weekend.

 

^My Garmin Edge for my ElliptiGO agrees with this one pretty closely as it gave me 5,246 ft.

 

Blizzard warning, high winds, snow accumulation.....right now we have rain. Change over expected later AM. We may not get as much snow as some other areas since we started with rain. We won't get the light fluffy stuff either. I'm off today keeping busy at home....who else washes their kitchen floor when snow will be tracked in?

We are experiencing a blizzard. Whiteout conditions, snow, very high winds and temps headed to near zero. We leave for Fla. in 3 weeks for 2 months. Cant wait to get away from this crap.
