The Vintage Weather Thread
Hoping for some snow melt this week. The snowfall from last week turned to heavy slush before I could clear the driveway...and then it froze. Then we got another 12" of snow on top of the mess. With difficulty, I cleared the new snow, but still have the ice. The driveway is cratered like the surface of the moon. My wife and I spent an hour over the weekend and chiseled off the parking area near the garage, but left the remaining 400'. It is not even Christmas and I'm sick of winter.

^^^Hopefully better than here, howling winds at 50+ mph, 8-10 foot swells on Lake Champlain causing the ferry to shut down.(and that rarely happens)
At least it is 33° out, however the light rain on the cold roads has cause many of them to turn into sheets of ice. How's it there Emil?

Levi, here,it's pretty nice,-9*C,a nice little white snow, just like a Christmas card.
Freezing rain all afternoon, Emil. In spite of that, we decided to walk the long 4 blocks for pizza around 4 pm. Should have called first, as they were closed until 8 January.
Got soaked and I slipped and fell on the ice (no damage). Found a nice diner anyway and gave up trying to hail a taxi to get back to the hotel, so gingerly made our way back, since the rain had eased off. Wish it was snow! Now nice and warm inside for the night.
Still love Montreal.
