egads today was awful, the warmup never really happened and the roads were slick.
Earlier this morning I watched Barbara blow by our driveway off the common drive.
She wasn't going all that fast but missed the driveway by 50 feet.

I just dropped 50 lbs of salt out on our drive.

used 140 lbs of salt in the last few days.
black ice on the driveway was so bad I used a lawn spreader to put the salt down.

We stayed warm enough here on our side of MA, so no icing. The sun is out today. Life just feels better when the sun is out.

60 and sunny the last two days in Dallas means I have been thoroughly enjoying some top-down driving. Even got to drive to Plano on the clock yesterday!
Rolled up to a nice lookin' lady in a silverstone S with the top up and she yelled "I guess I should have my top down!" across three lanes.

Back to sub zero temperatures for the next few nights with sunny days about 10.

2-1-2018. This is the most snow I've had so far in Loveland, Colorado. It's been snowing for almost 12 hours. Beats the hell out of the 80s in so Cal. Finally, a real winter!

Lovely Leo has fur between his toes. He was very interested in checking out the snow. When I let him go out longer, though, he didn't stay out.

Patricia, you are like a kid in a candy store! Glad you are enjoying the snow, and I'm with Deb, glad it's there and not here. However, we have had some lately too. We were supposed to get 2-4" of snow the other night, at the most. We ended up with 7.5" at least. It was a giant PIA for Rick as he had to deal with it early in the AM so we could get to work. That's the sucky part of winter and snow for us. Snow on a weekend cramps our style as we have things to do.....

If I could, I'd send you ALL of our snow/snow storms, as you seem so happy when it snows.
