Looks like it did. Wunderground shows 81 right now. Wow...just took a nice top-down drive to Home Depot to get new fixtures for the guest bath.

was 71 earlier today, expecting more snow tomorrow.
been a topsy-turvy winter. although it has been on the milder side for us.
let's hope it stay that way.

We did not get the summer day that you did, though it wasn't bad. We didn't see the sun either...today I think we are getting rain...I've not paid attention..

Yeah, coastal areas will be hit pretty hard, with some inland effects, too. We are expecting high winds tonight through Sat am. Sustained to 40 with gusts over 60.

Gene, you will notice that map is predominantly green
I don't have to shovel rain and I'm far enough inland that flooding is not an issue.
So it's just another wet Friday. except it's supposed to change over at the end.

Wind warning for the DC area tomorrow:

Northwest 25 to 40 mph with gusts around 60 to 70 mph.
The strongest winds will be Friday morning through Friday
evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be
difficult.
