The Vintage Weather Thread
A nasty front that extends from the Gulf to the upper mid-west is rolling through here today. Tornado warnings, flash flood warnings, severe storm warnings, high wind warnings. We've definitely been warned.
Heading east, so batten down the hatches, y'all. Oh, and temps are 20 degrees colder behind the front. I know you guys are excited about that!

Well we have driven a long way for what may be only two days on the beach. It's quite chilly. We warned the girls that last year's weather was unseasonably warm. However, we kept busy today with a trip to the Aquarium, lunch and a little shopping. Rick and I went for a walk this AM and this PM I was stalking a family of egrets with my zoom lens. The girls are enjoying in spite of the weather. They love the condo and are down at the indoor pool now. Another cold day tomorrow. We may leave them to sleep in and go off to a car museum for a bit. Hopefully the wind won't we so strong tomorrow and the temps will feel warmer by afternoon.
Had a couple days in the 80s and I turned on the AC. Now it's back to low 60s and chilly at night, so I switched back to heat. Looks like that is the plan for awhile, since I don't see anything above the 60s for the next week or so.
