I've got rain and a cool day, finally! The past week has been in the 90s and over 100 on Wednesday. I got in a 20 mile ride on my ElliptiGO before the rain started, just like predicted, at 3 PM. Might have thunderstorms and hail, but so far it's just a breezy, fresh rain.

just be glad it's that small and not golf ball size or bigger.
Yeah, that's for sure. My S already had $8,000 in hail damage in Colorado Springs after S2KCA Days in Durango, three years ago, outside of my sister's home. I've got plenty of garage space here.
Durango area weather is now mostly 80s in the afternoon and 40s at night. opening the windows at night and closing them in the wee hrs keeps it cool inside in the daytime. The garage is below ground level, so it stays cool for working there.
Today has cooled down, 84 expected after 98 yesterday. But this morning we had orange shaded back yard from the Yolo fire and ash all over the deck. Looked like October after the Napa fires. The Yolo fire is 25 miles away but the ash cloud is coming right over Napa. It started yesterday at 2:15 and by sunset it was 8,000 acres. Sunrise was 16,000 acres and now, at noon, it's 22,000. The good news is weather is improving and no structures have burned or are threatened.
