I finally uploaded my photos. So, yes, on Dec. 30, 2014 we had very low level snow in southern California. If I had looked outside that night I would have seen it falling in my neighborhood but it was ferociously windy and cold and I was not interested in being outside. The wind was howling through my windows. In the morning, I saw the snow from my house on the local hills.

Early in the week it was 80°F and today it's in the low 60s.

Still winter here. Right now it's 21 degrees. It was colder last week, but today just felt sooooooooooooooooo cold all day. As I headed into the Y after work, I felt colder than I have in a long time when making the trip through the parking lot. Got the blood pumping at my class and finally feel warm.

Tonight I was thinking that we MUST find a way to escape this area for a month or two once we retire. Winter .

Minus 14 or some such insanity here this morning. I was watching the weather before work this morning thinking that's GOTTA BE with the wind chill but it wasn't. Luckily we didn't get any snow over night so I'm working inside this morning.

The news channels were reporting -8 when I left for work. Didn't feel that cold. I would have said it was above 0. I'm enjoying the Civic I bought as my daily. No more rough starts and check engine lights after a cold start like my Subaru. Do miss the heated seats though.

My tacomas engine light has been on for the last three years and when its -10 in the morning she always starts rough and the power steering fluid is like molasses but I just let the old girl warm up and she is good to go. One thing that really amazes me is battery longevity I've had my truck at least six years and bought it used and have never replaced the battery nor have I ever had to jump it and on my last truck I bought it used kept if for eight years and had the same luck with the battery.

Another cold front approaching from the northwest and agony for our SoCal visitors.

Stay warm, Patty.

I was just taking pictures of the snow falling under the street lights, from inside the house. It's predicted to snow all day, tomorrow (Wednesday). I got lucky.

Got a winter advisory this AM, which always complicates things around here as soon as the first flake falls. Also possibly two more events in the next week. As long as it all gets out of the way when I have to fly to FL a week from Fri!!!

Nice pic, Gary. Enjoy the snow, Patty. It's 21 degrees here today, but the sun is out. I've heard some rumblings of winter weather (snow) heading our way. I'm ignoring the forecast for now. Maybe it will go away.

I arrived in sunny Colorado Springs on Monday morning (1-19-2015). Tuesday was cloudy, and at times, very foggy. My sister had me drive us to Starbuck$ and I was scared in the fog but she got a good laugh out of it. Today, Wednesday (1-21-2015) it's been snowing for over 12 hours. Yippee. I'm happy but my sister and brother-in-law aren't. They don't think it's very nice that I wanted snow when I get to go back to So Cal on Friday to temps in the 70s to 80s.

^Tag. I take him for walks but may be skipping today.

^1-21-2015. I said the "W" word to get Tag to look at me.
