low 70s It's been in the 80 for several days here. Dropped to low 70s today, with rain forecast for Saturday and Sunday. Some our our trees think it's Spring and have leaves and flowers. I'm beginning to think El Niño is a HOAX!

At least northern California got rain and snow. We got gypped. Mammoth is supposed to get a bunch in the next week.

I agree on the El Niño hoax and hype. Colorado’s southern mountain ranges were to get heavy amounts of snowfall, but it hasn’t happened yet. They’re only slightly above average this winter.

El Niño came through yesterday. It poured all day long. I don't have my rain gauge anymore, left it at the house we sold, so I don't know how much we got. We were about to go to bed and out of nowhere there was a screeching sound, over and over 4 or 5 times. This being a new house (to us) I had no idea what it was. Finally checked the IPhone laying on the counter and there was a texted Flood Warning message. We never signed up, how did they know? We are not in the flood zone.
Sun is out this morning. Wonder if the balloon companies are flying tourists? Rain is still predicted.

I got almost an inch last night. It's done for now.

About an inch here, too, with another, stronger storm forecast for tonight.
