We should be ok at the beach 3-6" but lookout Northeast. Major blizzard with several feet and hurricane winds coming your way so stock up and be safe.

Calm before the storm. Right now its very still, clear and chilly outside.

The storm is supposed to start tomorrow afternoon leaving accumulations of 14 to 24 inches here (probably more because of our elevation) and up to 36 inches in New York City. They're expecting power outages because of the snow and wind, and blizzard conditions including 2 inches of snow an hour.

My GL was on empty Thursday night coming home from work. I drove the E Friday.
I finally got the snows on the GL today and went to BJ's to fill it up.
You would have thought they were giving the gas away.
I honestly haven't seen a line for gas like that since the 70's oil embargo.
There were at least 30, may be 40 cars in line.

There is that snow removal business............Thankfully Rick's knee issues are a bit better so he thinks he will be able to deal with it. I don't mind the staying home part, I don't like the use a vacation day or don't get paid, part. Better things to do with vacation time.

Very true. I guess I would have to stay in until it melts.

It does make for some great photographic backdrops.

Lainey, I hope your heat stays on, your lights too, and you get a snow day.
Did you stock up on M & Ms?
