Well...we will just have to wear our Fall Harvest Shirts, for Spring Fling...

I had my house heater on today. I got a tad of rain. I'm not complaining.

There’s a slight possibility of snow at my elevation Sunday evening. I believe that May 11[sup]th[/sup] – 20[sup]th[/sup] are the average dates for our last killing frost. You chance losing most annual plantings before those dates.

The +1 and adapted to this, and have a high tolerance to both heat and cold. We keep a fourteen degree window where our heating or cooling is not activated. Those temperatures are between 65-79 degrees during our waking hours…as low as 60 while sleeping. We’ll alter the temperatures only when guests are with us.

Here's to a lovely spring, a quiet summer in the Gulf and Caribbean, a spectacular fall and a mild winter in 2015/16. Oh, and some rain out west!

After five days of continual rain and drizzle here are a few examples of what grows as a result.

At least 12-14” in diameter.

Some beautiful yellow flowers

A snow/rain mix is expected tomorrow. Our stalled weather front will soon be moving east...enjoy.

So happy to get spring weather. We've had a couple really nice days. Today was just so so, but still spring. Tomorrow cloudy and low 60's but we are heading away from the coast into CT where it will be sunny and warm.

Yesterday while driving to work, I noticed these flowers growing out of a tree trunk. A little shoot that has blossomed. It was so pretty it made me appreciate spring even more. Grabbed a couple pics at lunch with point and shoot.
