Remember the commercial: "Sleep well tonight, your National Guard is awake"? Well they are coming to help remove the snow in the area.

Make sure, if you see them in your 'hood, you give them thanks (and a warm beverage)!

I expect they will be in the more congested areas in the city. But I will acknowledge them if I see them!

I'm sure they would really appreciate it!

I just wonder where all that snow is going to be dumped

They had been dumping it in a parking lot for the ferry to Martha's Vineyard which isn't running right now and at another location as well. Maybe they will get permission to dump it in the Harbor as Boston did.

Today is liquidator cleanout day at my mother's house. They show up at 9:30 and leave at some point this pm. I probably won't be there. Give them a key to lock up because I plan to be home before our snowstorm hits this evening.
