Snowing here. We aren't supposed to get too much out of this storm, but there will be no sunshine until at least Tuesday.

Lainey, even though we have no snow, I prefer Patty's view also!

 

Gene, it's the last winter I'll have that green view. The rape and pillage of those bright green areas has started for the 900 new homes. By the end of the year, it will look very different.

 

Sorry green in February is just plain wrong

 

Probably so, but with a view like that I'm willing to bet it's not that difficult to adjust to being wrong.

From Friday morning to Saturday morning we got 3.5 inches of rain. Sunny then cloudy today, with another walloping storm to hit Sunday. Bring it on!

^Here in southern California, we only have green in the late winter and early spring. Then all the hillsides turn brown.


Good! I hope it hits the Sierras and deepens the snow pack that we need so much for the water supply in the state. Last time I checked it was on the verge of rain instead of snow for Mammoth Mountain, CA. My place at Kennedy Meadows is getting rain, too.

 

I just remembered snow is a four letter word ........
