Bummer, LB. I've been watching news footage of what seems to be a never ending series of snowstorms. We are just trying to get rid of the wind. I can take the cold, but the wind really bothers me. Supposed to taper off after 2 PM.

Pushing 22" now. We got a little more snow that some areas to the west of us, but they've already had their turn. They still got enough. Oh and we may see six more inches on Tuesday.

Look sun!

Icicles from Friday. Rick knocked them down, but we have more. We have no snow rake to clear snow from the roof. Never needed one before. We may see some melting late next week. I will believe that when I see it.

Yikes, Lainey. I won't even tease you this winter. That just sucks.

Patricia. I'm a lucky girl. Rick declines my offer to help with snow removal.

He's not gone out there yet. He's hoping the wind dies down as he will be working in vain. We have a 5' drift on the back porch. The wind is still blowing, and the temps are going to drop like a rock.

This IS one of the worst winters I can recall. It has broken records for most snowiest.

Neither of us is working tomorrow, that is a good thing.

Spring fling is gonna have to be in August. That will be the first time we'll be dug out.

I've never seen ice dams like this.
Lainey I have icicles hanging halfway to the first floor. ~15 feet long.

I just spent 5 hours with the snow blower widening our common drive section and cutting back snowbanks.
We're only halfway through February and sadly there could still be a lot of winter left.
Depending upon what kind of precipitation we get Tuesday, any snow bank in place could be a rock for the rest of the winter.

I don't know if it the "worst" winter but it certainly has been a pretty packed few weeks.
We basically had no real snow to speak of a month ago.

A suggestion for those of you with ice dams and you are going to laugh but I'm not kidding, put some ice melt in some panty hose and if you are able to lay it out on the roof do that if not throw it up on the roof.

I saw that on TV, Rob. We may have to go that route...if we have ice melt....
