The Vintage Weather Thread
Today has been spectacular with Temps in the mid 40's.
For those outside the snow belt, this is a blessing and a curse.
The upside is we actually finally get a warm up and a melt which is glorious.
The downside is it means you have today to move any snow and only today.
Temps will be plunging below zero tomorrow.
Any melted snow will then turn into a block of concrete not to be moved until spring thaw.
I had to drag the snowblower through the house to clear the deck for second time this year something I have never done before.
Really tempted to get out the hose and give the cars a rinse.

After I finished I turned the water back off and drained the hose and pipe in the garage. We're expecting below zero temperatures tomorrow.
Spring is coming! I can feel it in my bones! And look! The mirror on the S is peeking out! Top down days will arrive soon.

Thankfully, no storms in the immediate forecast. Most days will have below freezing temps until Sunday, so not much melting going on.
We did have very little precipitation on Saturday and warmer temps yesterday; we had some melting, and, so far, no issues from the ice dams in the gutter, those must have melted down a bit too.
Main roads are clear, but oh my, the pot holes are growing. Side streets which were never totally clear still have frozen rutted ice on them.
BUT Spring IS coming!

Pretty dense, were you concerned about the weight? My +1 is not.
The S has lived outside in the winter for 10+ years. One storm dumped 30 inches on it. Hopefully, it will be OK when the snow melts......It really is amazing how good it looks when the cover comes off.
