Yeah, I noticed the distances are a bit far to walk. No problem. TX Jim will have a car and LB a car, also. And I'm sure some others.

Wow...that would be great if you could come, Mike! Would you come for dinner Fri night as well as Sat? It's been forever! Looks like Rori may have to up the number at Sakura by a couple - so would that make it 20?

Sandy and I would love to join in the Vintage festivities at Dean's. We just need to get Sandy's work schedule for that week, which should be posted this evening. Fingers crossed.

That's great. Please post when you know for sure. Fingers crossed!!

It has been a while, Deb. Actually I think I've run into a few vintage folks at the Dragon since we had that great time at the Florida Supermeet down in Plant City.

At this point Sandy has a Saturday shift that would prevent her coming down. Maybe she will be able to trade with someone. So I might have to fly solo this time. But if it isn't too much of a pain, please add me to the reservation list for Friday evening dinner. If the big table is full I can sit over at the kids table.

I will let you know if Sandy is able to swap shifts. (Fingers still crossed.)

I'm fairly certain we'll be driving Christina's 4 door sedan (the S2000 is still in the 'tear-down' process for paint) so we should have a couple extra seats for Friday night. Just PM me... or let Dean/Rori know where you need to be picked up and we'll get it done.

I think we're covered for up to 20 people, if I understood what Rori told me after she made the reservation. She tried to make it for a bit later - 7:00 - 7:30 - but 6:30 was the best she could do. So welcome, Mike.

I can't drive because of all the meds I have to take.. I can hold the fort here while everyone gets delivered to the hotel, restaurant, or whatever.
IOW, I'm next to useless.

Oooops. I meant that if they had a hard time getting ahold of me that you/Rori could probably relay the info to me... or offer my phone number to them (you are officially my pimp ) I don't want you driving either

It's either that or they rent a golf kart! For those who have yet to experience (or even read about it) the Villages has dedicated lanes just for Golf Karts along nearly every road. There probably is a golf kart rental service in the Villages that isn't reserved for the golf courses ... but I don't know for sure.

Just heard from Sandy. She has to work both days that weekend and won't be able to join me. So I guess it's just the old fart this time.

Too bad - look forward to seeing you. How long would it take to go six miles (from the hotel to Sakura) in a golf cart?

Reservation made. Ouch! Dean was right in his early post about prices going up at the Hampton.
