OK...if by chance she comes in about the same time I do, maybe we can ride up together. However, I will make a reservation with the shuttle just in case, so don't feel obligated if my arrival time (11:15 AM) doesn't coordinate with hers.

I made the hotel reservation. Val is going to go ahead and make hers, also - Hampton Inn & Suites Lady Lake/The Villages.

Dean - I think most if not all of us are staying at the Hampton Inn, but the Waterfront Inn looks lovely. Maybe we can all go over there for a drink or two (or three, or four).

Well, you can't beat $35/$40 one way when the trip is 66 miles! A steal. It's $50 here to go from Dulles to my mother's house (about 15 miles).

Val has made her reservation at Hampton Inn, also. She says Jim is looking forward to going, which is good news.

Unfortunately, Angela can't make it. Her life is really hectic right now with work and other things.

Crap. I was hoping she'd be able to make it down here for a visit. Oh well. I now have an extra bedroom for someone, since Lainey and Angela aren't coming down.

Attention all interested parties:

The Hampton Inn management has been less than responsive to my calls. Because the room rate is relatively low, I recommend making you reservations now. First post has been updated with hotel information.

Actually, online is $101 non-refundable for a regular queen or king room, and $119 with a cancellation option.

And room rates are about to go up, since it's the holiday season. Snowbirds and their families will be here.
