I think it is great you folks are all getting together. We continue to look for a place in the Jacksonville -St. Augustine area for a month's stay in our price range but we apparently are too late for this winter. Should we find something and it works out time wise we will be there.

 

The whiner from Texas just weighed in. Here's how it works - $35 one way for residents; $40 one way for non residents, and triple fares for crybaby Texans.

 

Our reservations are all made. Barbara lands around 2 something in Orlando if anyone needs a ride.

 

I didn't know your sphere of influence reached that far. My car rental is much less than the Texas rate!! in fact it is less than the residential one-way rate. So yes, dmmit, I will show up at your front door !!

 

My flight arrives at about 10:30 am Friday. I , too, will
have room for three more, if someone would like a ride.

You would be surprised at how far my influence can reach without my ever having to leave my chair. I learned lots of nifty and very nasty stuff I can do from many of my quite computer astute students.

 

Did you decide not to drive across from TX? If you are willing to wait a bit, I'll ride up with you. My flight arrives 11:15. Otherwise, I'll keep my shuttle reservation.

Great, Deb. I'll have the car by the time you arrive and I can arrange to pick you up at arrivals. Yeah, i couldn't see driving that far when so many planes fly in that direction.
