I didn't know your sphere of influence reached that far. My car rental is much less than the Texas rate!! in fact it is less than the residential one-way rate. So yes, dmmit, I will show up at your front door !!
You would be surprised at how far my influence can reach without my ever having to leave my chair. I learned lots of nifty and very nasty stuff I can do from many of my quite computer astute students.

That's no surprise. I have never been and will never be able to win any word battles or digital exchanges with you. As long as I have known you, you have been frickin fearless on offense. But WTF, I still you anyway. By comparison I'm pretty much a hopeless wuhzz.

My flight arrives at about 10:30 am Friday. I , too, will
have room for three more, if someone would like a ride.
Did you decide not to drive across from TX? If you are willing to wait a bit, I'll ride up with you. My flight arrives 11:15. Otherwise, I'll keep my shuttle reservation.
Great, Deb. I'll have the car by the time you arrive and I can arrange to pick you up at Arrivals.. Yeah, i couldn't see driving that far when so many planes fly in that direction.

I have been giving this some thought.

My Brother has a condo in Titusville that he spends the winter months in, that I have never been too. I also have several long time friends in the Tampa and Punta Gorda area that would be great to visit. So, I could kill several birds with one stone as the saying goes.

The question now is: If I drive the S down, do I put on the winter tires or keep the RE-11A's on it to enjoy if the temps are above 50*F ? Then again, most of the driving is on boring straight roads.

What to do, what to do?

If it were me I'd drive. Virginia is warm and you won't be doing any daredevil stunts even if the temps are under 50. I've driven my car at and below freezing in the winter so long as the roads are free of snow and ice.

There is a strong possibility that I will be able to make this bash, after all. Waiting to hear from Bea's sister, who lives south of Tampa. Would only be me attending, after a 2 hour or so drive up to The Villages, while Bea spends time with her sister. Thanks to Frontier Airlines, this flight would be cheaper than the train ride to Bill's Cookie Party! I'll keep you informed.

Unfortunately, Vito is out for this one. So you can take his name off the list.
