You are right, Bill, the political debates thread had politics written all over it from the beginning and should have been moved earlier The final straw was the post that immediately preceded the move.

The posting rules state clearly that political humor is political; and that political humor is welcome in the Politics Subforum.

The political debates thread is still there and available if people want to continue laughing at one or both sets of candidates and both parties' debates.
