People are raking leaves wearing shorts and tee shirts. That's something you don't see too often in New England.

No. Shorts and tee shirts are not the usual November raking leaves attire. But you knew that!

Yup it has been pretty warm here too, I've been seeing lots of people at local retail stores wearing shorts, and cut-off tops mostly seen in summer weather.

I haven't worn my gloves or heavy coat yet, usually that happens well before today's date.

I got it Dean.

Dave, it dumps on a pivot so it isn't too bad.

It also has this handy convenience feature, when the bin is full, it blows all the leaf crap back down your neck.

Heading up to Hope Valley CA for our 38th anniversary. Sorenson's "resort" is a very small eclectic spot with really nice cabins and a well regarded chef that is quite small and intimate. Have not stayed there for a while but often drive by on trips to the Sierras and Owens Valley/Death Valley/Nevada/Mono Lake/Bristlecone Pine areas. There are still fall colors and some light snow so far. I fly fish nearby as well as backpack. The Marine Corp Mountain Warfare center is not far. We often stay there as well. Armed guards protecting the S!

After some doctors appointments I changed the oil and rotated the tires on the CX-5. Now I won't have anything to do over the weekend!

Easing into the weekend and exploring a 15 year old.
Glenfiddich that is. single malt finished in solera vats.
Very light on the palate, no singular flavor dominating, very pleasant.
