Extraction of the rest of the tooth (the top sheared off) grafting, (cow bone ). I don't know much about the procedure, I'm not asking, and I'm not googling either. I'll get a valium when I arrive and nitrous oxide and local anesthetic. I see no need to deal with the death grip on a dental chair, give me the meds!

The oral surgeon did not expect the procedure to take all that long 30 min (?), appointment is at 12:45, no eating or drinking three hours prior to appt.

My sister is working on her second implant. She said the second appointment when they screw in the implant is one where you might want the heavy duty sedation. My friend who had implants by the same oral surgeon I'm seeing said she was fine with the valium, local and nitrous for both procedures.

I will be on antibiotics, 600 mg motrin and Tylenol with codeine if needed.

I think the most painful part will be paying for all this.....

Lainey, I can give you really good details if you want

Hopefully we get some good solid sunshine So I can do car pics this weekend and get the SL63 onto bring-a-trailer.
hoping to execute toy-transform and get a maybach.
In two years I managed to put less than 2k miles on it. of course I didn't really put any mileage on anything else in the fleet either.

They are having a free dental clinic in Bennington Vt starting Sat. at 6.a.m. They stated that in past clinics people show up in the parking lot the night before and wait for it to open.

With good reason. Dental care is unaffordable for many. If you are on public assistance, very few dentists accept patients, as the end up getting paid peanuts for their services. There was a local dental chain that accepted public benefits and they were screwing over the system. They actually were using paper clips for root canal procedures!

One word of advice, stay away from the "dentist in a box" practices.
Paper clips during root canals!!

My brother in law has helped with some of those clinics. Helping folks who are seeing the dentist for the first time in their life

I consider myself very fortunate I have had the same Dentist for the last 20 plus years and he is great. I’m hoping he doesn’t retire anytime soon.

I’ve got my cousins coming up from R.I. to visit their son my second cousin who lives a bit north of me and they are going to stop at my house on their way and we are going out to lunch. I have another tentative lunch date for later day but waiting to hear from my friend whether she is coming up here or not.
