Thumbs up What is wrong with me?

I hate to put this out here, but I'm sniveling and whining and wimpering and figure Vintage may be a good resource.
I am not a happy camper. I'm trying to understand how come I feel like I've aged 20 years in the past 3 months. I hate to whine and snivel, but Vintage seems like the place I might get some insight. I moved from the dry desert to moist air closer to the ocean. Does that mattter?

First, my left foot started aching, a lot. Hurt to walk on it. After the third Dr. visit, and being tortured by a chiro who thought he could "adjust" the pain out, I was told by a podiatirst that I have a bunionette. Left pinky toe bunion. I am taking 4 ibuprofen for it on a regular basis, right now.

My left ring finger gets so painful and stiff I have to slowly force it straight in the morning. This happens daily too.

My left jaw has gotten an ache three different times, out of the blue, where it hurts just to open my mouth. It's gone in three days. The last time I was just driving my RAV on the freeway and suddenly my jaw hurt if I opened my mouth.

Now, after washing and waxing my S and RAV yesterday, my right wrist is swollen on top and I can't bend it foward. I did over do it a little, but this never used to be a problem.

When I lived in Acton, I never had these problems. Sore back yes, but that's a given. Sore finger, toe, wrist, jaw? Never. I turned 50 in January but I didn't expect to have issues hit this fast.

What the hell? Any ideas here?

***EDIT***

As of June 19th, I've been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Sorry to hear that, Kyras!

Has anything else changed in your lifestyle other than your location?

I don't think I can help you much, but I'm always here for sympathy.

I think I'd see a doc about that Patty...sounds like it could be arthritis related. And I know humidity does aggravate arthritis in some peeps. So your move could have triggered something. Just a wild guess on my part, though, so get it checked out by a pro (and let us know what happens). Good luck!

Humidity gets my very first thought. All too often I have heard of the story in the opposite direction; someone in a humid environment going into the dry, and then wondering why all the little aches and pains have gone.

Maybe it is time to find a new friend

I'm a huge fan of ibuprofen, if it were not for this anti-inflamitory my days of long motoprcycle rides would be over. And as far as the rumored "it will eat your stomach lining", I just never take them on an empty stomach, and have never had an issue.

Good luck for sure!!!

I have a Dr. appointment today. I'm getting sick of going to the Dr. down here but at least they are very prompt and friendly.

Thanks, Jonas and Ellen. I appreciate the sympathy.

Humidity is the only thing I can think of, too. I've been in the desert for 23 years and never had these problems. I've also heard that ibuprofen eats joints. Ever heard of that one, Doug?

Do you take Statins? I had horrible joint problems from Zocor. I had to sleep with Wrist braces on and didn't think I'd ever be able to wax a car again. Turned out it was the meds doing it. A hand specialist figured it out.

^No Statins. I'm glad to hear that your problem was solved, Jim.

Just doing a search on line with humidity and pain I came across something that looks like it's a possibility. Rheumatic pain. Rheumatoid arthritis tends to begin in middle-aged women. The descriptions of pain and factors that aggravate or alleviate the pain, seem close. I'll bring this up at the doctor's this afternoon. Jerry thought this might be the case.
