I have had arthritis for many, many years and find that many medications help tremendously.

Simple pain medications such as ibuprofen help, but more powerful medicines such as methotrexate or even Remicade are available. They can make life wonderful again.

Jim mentioned statins. I had shoulder pain (both sides) and it stopped after I stopped taking Crestor. However, my shoulder pain was in the muscle, not the joint.

Glad you are going to see a doctor before permanent joint damage is done.

I don't think it's waxing the car, I think it's too much sex!!! You have to take breaks once in a while Patty.

Sorry that you have those pains. I have had the same for years. Bourbon, Vicodin (not at the same time) and an occasional Ibuprofen are my friends.

Thank You, my Vintage Friends. I truly appreciate you all taking the time to give advice or mention something that might help. It makes me feel better, mentally.

The weather here is drizzly and cool, at 58*. It's not really warm and dry, as you might expect for So Cal. I think I may start keeping track of my pain issues and the weather, to see if I can find any correlation.

I think it may just be the opposite. Not enough.

You are so bad, Dean!

If your jaw issue persists Kyras, you might want to be screened for having a TMJ.
I called my dentist about that after the last three day stint with jaw pain. It is a possibility. I'll see if it comes back again.

Well, we both know that you won't let anyone touch your little Lucy Lui, including me.

I will ask about something else. I know the ibuprofen hasn't helped much lately.
