Good new is always good to hear. Hope your recovery is quick and speedy. You know I'll be doing an inspection in the next parking lot we find ourselves in at the same time. Spokey, take care of our girl. Girl, listen to Spokey!
Hope Patty is doing OK I'm going to give her a call later, but it's still kind of early in Cali
FYI: Patty rested well last night, and is doing fine. The drugs knocked her out for the count. Her hand throbs with pain sometimes, but we're keeping it iced, and she's taking the Vicodin @ 4-6 hr intervals. However, she's only taking one pill instead of two during the day, and 1 1/2 pills at night to help her sleep. She's a strong-willed girl, and really appreciates all your kind thoughts and prayers.
As far as I know she is still a "guest" on S2ki, and cannot post photos. I know she has "processed" some SF pics for posting, so we can create a "Patty SF album" in my albums, and post them under my log-in. I'll see if she's up for that later today.
i should be that i'm still a guest but it gives me an excuse to delay posting photos. maybe the timing will be right and my hand won't throb at the same time i'm gold again.
vicodin in... soon.
i just got a call from a nurse at the surgery center where i got cut. she was checking up on me. i told her that they are a "class act" and i felt well taken care of. i told her that i volunteer in the surgery waiting room at saddleback hospital and i was very happy with my experience yesterday. she was happy to hear it coming from someone who has experience in the area.
^ Very well, Lainey. I only took a half a Vicodin, at bedtime, all day yesterday. Haven't had any pain meds today, and don't need any. I've got the ice wrap on since I'm left pecking at the computer and the right fingers are swollen. The hand hurts a little but no where near enough to risk barfing meds.
Jerry was my chauffeur this morning to Cars and Coffee. I don't think I'll even attempt to drive until the stitches and this first cast/bandage come off after 2 weeks. That's my son's RSX in the driveway. Kyle, Joanna (his g/f) and Light (their kitten) are here for the weekend.
