Yeah, I was going to say maybe not the one who lives behind you.

He was not invited. The only neighbors who were invited are my immediate neighbors who live on the cul-de-sac. He lives behind me. GRRR. He's been trying to make it up to me by being super sweet, etc. The only way he can make it up is by planting gigantic trees to replace the ones he took out, but I'm nice. His wife is suffering from dementia so I get it that he has issues. He's having a lot of work done on his house, so I'm wondering if he's getting it ready to go on the market. Only time will tell.

I've got plenty to do though. Some "seasonal" cleaning, stuff around the house.

Just set up a PC (using my own monitor) for my son and his family. I though the younger generation was supposed to do that for us??

Will pick up a monitor tomorrow and set them up over the weekend, early Christmas gift to the family.

On soccer duty with the grandson, too. Busy, busy....
Damn it was cold at the soccer field. Had to be there early for "picture day" so hung around outside more than I wanted to. 50 very RAW degrees. Out came a heavy jacket and gloves.

Rick met me there with the granddaughter. She didn't last long and went to sit in the car. After the game (grandson's team won and he scored a goal) took them to lunch, then to pick up the monitor. Back to their house and got the PC all set up. Even found the drivers for an older printer to work with Windows 10, also connected to a wireless printer they have in another area. Quite proud of my IT skills today.

So today is DONE, time for some grown up out to dinner time with

Val, glad you had fun with the non tree cutting neighbors.

Meeting the grandson for dinner. I'm looking forward to some stories, if there's not too many relatives there.

Horseshow was great...loved the dressage exhibition in particular. The +1 got some good pics, I think, so will post a couple.

Usually watch the start of the Marine Corps Marathon. The Mile 1 marker is up the street from us. I went today and rang my cowbell, yelled "Semper Fi" to the Marines, etc. It's a rainy morning, however, so not that fun for the runners. There were a lot with strollers for handicapped persons. That is dedication for you. And the wheelchair participants are amazing, too.

^^ I think its a cute sign too. We were at Peggy's house. She's third from the left and her house is across the street from mine. All these ladies live in the cul de sac except for the lady on the end (Vicki). She lives in the subdivision next to ours. She's a honorary member our our 'hood since her neighbors aren't as cool as we are.
