Got tix to the Nats game tomorrow on the spur of the moment, so we'll be seeing them beat the Pirates again, I hope.

Just finished my part of our Ragnar race. Some quality sleep would be great.

The +1 heads up to NJ today to be with his kids and grandma for a couple of weeks, so I'll be doing stuff on my own around here. This weekend is going to be so hot, I doubt any of it will be outdoors. Upper 90s with heat index of 105+. Yuck...

We are entertaining a few S2000 pals from New England tomorrow evening. Stogie (Bill & Sally) Bolton (Jerry & Barbara) a few other long time New England folks will attend. Legal Bill is invited but he's gone and they are also busy with the grandkids at the Cape house.

We will sit on the deck and enjoy looking at Rick's lovely garden, nibble on appetizers and salad, then I will pick up pizza from a local joint that makes very good thin (but not too thin) crust pizza. We used to host a cook out but find we have more time to socialize with the pizza, salad and appetizers. We also used to host a much larger crowd, but many have moved on to other things in their lives.

Sunday, the grandson is playing in his first soccer game of the season. I will likely attend that, and in the afternoon, maybe some top down time in the S.

^Thanks anyway, Lainey, but I volunteered to take care of my neighbor's cats while he visits his sister on Cape Cod!
