Been absent for awhile, busy with work, gf and training.. but i'm back! Love detailing s2ks... here is a 00 BB I recently worked on. Looks pretty amazing for being a 13 year old car!

Process took approx 7 hours.. my fastest time yet for an s2000
wash
clay
2-step polished
sealant
wheel clean + tire dressing
engine clean + dress
soft top clean + dress
exhaust tips polished
headlight restored
small other things here and there as well

Awesome, I have a berlina black 2003 with a ton of swirls and will give this a try. Looks like the polish and compound didn't leave much residue? I didn't see that you taped anything off hence the question.

It did have some residue but i feel like swirls extend to the edge, even in the gaps, and i'm afraid of the DA ripping the tape off if i get to close, so i leave gaps exposed.. The polish dusting will wash out eventually or during door jamb wipe down. With wax, i try very hard not to spread it over the openings lol hope this helps
